After glucagon binds to the glucagon receptor on the liver cell membrane, it activates glycogen phosphorylase, lipase and gluconeogene-related enzymes in liver cells through the Gs-cAMP-PKA pathway or Gq-PLC-IP,/DC-PKC pathway, causing a series of subsequent reactions.
